I am the gramma to three adoreable kids! ( Bias? Well, maybe... )
Zachary is almost 18 :) Shawnee is almost 14 :) and Austin is 7 :)
I am sooo crazy over these kids!
Well, recently I was on classmates.com.. And found Shawnee's
other gramma, Shawnee has never really met this gramma, she
was in the delivery room,& saw her as a baby, ( but of corse Shawnee
had no recollection of it!) anyway, I wrote her a note and she
responded quickly. Now my baby girl can meet her in person!
I & Shawnee's mom are very excited to let them re-unite!
People have to know where they came from... and in this
day and age, it's not always as easy to know where all the
pieces fit to your life. Shawnee has aways seemed well adjusted,
so we never gave it much thought, but, when we told Shawnee about
this, she was as eager as the other gramma! :) We had no idea
that she would react this way! I wish them all the blessings that
come from such a relationship. I hope it's not been too many
years to overcome...... With God's help "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!"

MUSIC
I like many types of music, as you can see, On this page I have
Ronnie Milsap, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Uncle Kracker, who my
nephew turned me on to in Phoenix. Every morning he would play
this for his little 18 mo. old grand daughter, she would dance to it so
cute.( called, "Follow Me" ) When I got back, (after the jet lag
wore off.) I felt something was missing - and I realized that I was
missing that song! So I got on the internet & found it, & also realized
it would be a good song, (Follow Me) for the blog! It's a cute song,
Give it a try! I had never heard of Uncle Kracker, But I like most of
what he sings. Speaking of music - - I saw Ronnie Milsap in person
and even got to hug him! He smelled so good, I don't know what after
shave/ cologne he was wearing, but it was great! He gives a tremendous
show too! I wish I could have seen Stevie Ray Vaughn before he died,
he sure could play guitar like no one ever has! I like Eric Clapton now
that he's mellowed, much better than when I was a teen... Also a great
guitar player! You're probably thinking,"why is a woman her age into this
type of music?" HEY, If it's good, It's good! :) TIL NEXT TIME<>

Jim V.
For awhile now, I have been e-mailing
with an "old" friend from school, JIM.
We have a good time and he has quite
a sense of humor, and has alot of
accomplishments in his life! I knew
him and his brother, while growing up.
I look forward to his e-mails, & jokes he
puts in them! He and I were not real close
in school, ( my boyfriend then, didn't like me
to talk to other guys...) but I sure am enjoying
him now! He lives in Denver, & I in Oklahoma.
A person just can't have too many friends!!
Roberto & I were talking today about that
very thing! He has alot of friends where he
lives in Ft. Morgan,Co. too. It's got to be lonely,
NOT to have friends! I just cannot even imagine!
The computer makes it so easy to step out of your
little world and enjoy life! Aren't you glad we have
this thing I call the DEMON?

I'm back from my trip to Arizona! It sure was good to get home! I had a good time, the weather was nice, topping 81 degrees one day. We shopped, and saw the sights, and visited alot. I got to see my kids in Denver, we had a 3hr. layover there, each way, going and coming back. I did alot of praying on the plane for a safe trip, the prayers were answered!! I still have jet lag though. MORE TOMORROW........ :)

This is me when I was 15 yrs. old - Obviously I no longer look like this! - BUT, I'm not going to post one of me NOW!
The blush is sure off the rose now!! ( 62 )
My reason for putting this here is to let everyone know,
that no matter what you look like NOW, you should just be glad to be alive!
There is so much to be thankful for, at any age!
I was on "classmates.com" recently,
and the ones that did post pictures are so sweet looking to me!
I'm just glad they are still alive & kicking!
AND BRAVE TOO! :))
If you ever get the chance, and are looking for old friends, or
old flames, Give it a try!! It's a great way to spend your time!
And you might be pleasantly surprised at some of the people
that are interested in you & what you are up to these days!
The first month is free also! You can upgrade after that, if you want!
ENJOY!! :)

Be responsible pet owners!
My trip is 6 days away! I'm proud of myself because, I have a place
for my bird to stay at last! He is a tropical creature, and spoiled by
me! I could not leave him in the hands of just anyone!! My dear nephew,
Cole will be watching " Tuffy," and no doubt will do well, after all, Cole
has been watching my dog, " Petey " for 5 months, he too is spoiled!
I cannot have my dog where I live- - he's too big! And he is a pitbull!
But such a sweet dog, he gets along with everyone - people -cats -
chickens, he just considers them all playmates! The controversy
about pitbulls is just not true of all of them! That would be like saying
people of a certain race are all bad - duh! It is always about how pitbulls
are raised, unfortunatly some ppl. raise them to attack! They train them
to be bad, this is NOT GOOD! - It's true that their jaws lock onto their prey,
unlike other dogs, that will let go. As a child of 13 yrs. old, I was bitten by a Collie,
named," LASSIE " I had 14 stiches in my calf! All dogs can be dangerous,
but just because I was bitten by a Collie dog, doesn't make them a
bad breed of dog! My parrot, "Tuffy " is much more disagreeable than, " Petey !"
But The Bird loves me :) !! Everyone that meets Petey, likes him, however not
everyone likes or trusts Tuffy! The press is very powerful, and they are the ones
that make decisions for the public, based on their "knowledge!" Have they ever
had a pitbull? Do they really know what they are talking about? The attacks on
children, and others, are the result of the OWNERS who trained the dogs to be
MEAN! Shame on you!!

decision
I've decided to be a blogger! :) This morning while looking
over various blogs of note, I thought, "how different we all
are!" We all have needs to be "who we are" and this is good,
this is very GOOD! I believe my need to be here,is for the
better, I need to talk , and very often no one to talk to, so,
here goes!
It has come to my attention this morning that, I can move
around without coffee, I can even drive! Even at 7:45 a.m.!!
(Although, I really would prefer not to.) I had to go to the
clinic and have LABS done, and they told me not to eat or
drink anything - groan - I had my doubts as to whether I
could actually do this! I am glad to say - - it can be done!
I hope I never have to do it again though! We really are
creatures of habit - -yes? By 8:45, I was back home having
my beloved coffee, and yes, oatmeal & toast!
Anyway, while looking at the "Blogs of note," I heard some
good music, got to read about their interests, see their pics,
and was no longer alone! :) HELLO OUT THERE! :)) Have
a good day!
